What is L’Aventure Michelin?


It’s an exhibition covering a 2,000m² area tracing the history of Michelin, yesterday, today and tomorrow. L’Aventure Michelin portrays Michelin’s innovations in the field of mobility and beyond, using reconstructions, films, vehicles, unique exhibits, etc., some of which have never gone on public display.



How do I get to L’Aventure Michelin?


By car:
From the North via the A71 highway, exit 15
From the South via the A75 highway, exit 15
From the West via the A89 highway, exit 15

Get off at “Stade Marcel Michelin”, and go round the stadium. L’Aventure Michelin is located behind the North Stand.



Where is L’Aventure Michelin?


To the north of Clermont-Ferrand town center, in Montferrand, 32, rue du Clos Four (just behind the Marcel Michelin sports stadium).



What are the opening times?


From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. between September and June, and from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. in July and August.
L’Aventure Michelin is closed on Mondays.
In July and August, L’Aventure Michelin is open every day, including Mondays.



Do I have to book my ticket in advance?


No it is not mandatory but it is recommended if you want to make sure you get the most out of your visit.



How can I make a reservation if I don’t have Internet access?


Many Internet access terminals are available to the public, in town halls, libraries, post offices, etc. You can also make you reservation at the reception during the opening time. Your tickets will be delivered.



Is it possible to make a telephone reservation?


We regret that we are unable to accept telephone reservations.



Is there a restaurant on-site?


There are several restaurants in the immediate vicinity.



Is there a cloakroom on-site?


No.



Are there lockers available for bags and luggage?


No, lockers for bags and luggage are not provided.
If you are on foot and carry backpack-type items, please speak to reception.



How long does the visit last?


The visit is not limited in terms of time; however, 1½ to 2 hours is a good estimate.



Is the Adventure suitable for young children?


The exhibition has been designed to appeal to the whole family.



Can I visit L’Aventure Michelin with a child’s stroller?


The building and design of the exhibition are not suited to strollers. Parents with young children can leave the strollers in their vehicle in the parking outside L’Aventure Michelin.



Does the exhibition have disabled access?

Is there a L’Aventure Michelin boutique?


Yes, L’Aventure Michelin boutique sells Michelin and Michelin Man products. The shop is open to everyone, whether or not they have an entrance ticket for the exhibition.



Is there a parking available?


Yes, there is a free on-site parking for visitors to L’Aventure Michelin.
Make sure you keep your entrance ticket as you will have to when leaving the parking.
The parking’s opening times are the same as those of L’Aventure Michelin.



Do you have parking places reserved for the disabled?


Yes, there are several parking places for the disabled.



Can I enter L’Aventure Michelin with a pet?


No, animals are not allowed inside L’Aventure Michelin (with the exception of guide dogs).



Is L’Aventure Michelin a no-smoking area?


Yes, L’Aventure Michelin is no-smoking throughout.
